Ahmad Madoun was a renowned Syrian artist born in 1941. His creative approach calls to mind the brilliance of early modernist painter Marc Chagall. Madoun combined symbolism with an accomplished sense of colour.

Moteaa Al Hariri is a Syrian artist. She is also a wife, a devoted mother, a teacher, an accomplished woman in everything she puts her hand to and, until recently, a Syrian refugee.
