Heather Hansen is a contemporary performance artist and dancer combining movement and art in a way that the final product incorporates the uniqueness of each.

Jenny Saville’s monumental self-portraits and paintings of fleshy women embrace the grotesque, and counter the male gaze that has dominated centuries of art history. 

Amy Scherer (Huddleston) is a figurative painter who lives in Kenmore, WA, USA. Her main focus is on “formalism, which emphasizes compositional elements.

Because my focus is figurative art in a more traditional sense, one of my favourite sculptural pieces is “Expansion” by Paige Bradley.

Baya Mahieddine was known simply as Baya. Her work was defined by her relationships with the male artists in her life, but the truth may well be that she influenced their work.

Moteaa Al Hariri is a Syrian artist. She is also a wife, a devoted mother, a teacher, an accomplished woman in everything she puts her hand to and, until recently, a Syrian refugee.
